The body of 40-year-old James Lloyd Moore, of Woodbridge, was found in the water behind the 11700 block of Antietam Road in Woodbridge on Thursday evening, July 27, police in Prince William County said.
Moore was reported missing that morning, after leaving his home on Pineneedle Court the night before.
At the time of the initial report, there were no indications that Moore was endangered. Family members were checking areas their loved one was known to frequent when the body was discovered.
The cause of death is not immediately known and will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
